How to design shoes? I know many of you want to design their shoes, create their own brand. Everyone wants the same but it is not that easy! However, there is a chance to a back stage of shoe design process.

Manchester United legend Eric Cantona may once have famously referred to his industrious midfield teammate, Didier Deschamps, as just a ‘water carrier’ but … where would we be without water!? From mobile phones to tomato soup at the supermarket, all these goods are delivered by commercial vehicles, they don't just appear by magic!

Ugly, noisy and full of smoke? Don’t be fooled into thinking though that Del Boy’s three-wheeler from ‘Only Fools and Horses’ is typical of today’s commercial van. Things have moved on from the days of the Robin Reliant and when it comes to looks, technology and comfort – today’s vans are up there with some of the best passenger vehicles on the road.

Although I’m not about to buy one just yet, I did want to do a bit of research into things like average mileage, body frameworks, storage space etc. and have discovered a few really good websites out there, of which Van Monster is probably the best.

Although it might sound like an episode of Pimp My Ride, Van Monster actually has thousands of second hand vans for sale on its site and I ended up spending a whole afternoon just browsing! I definitely didn’t realise there were so many of these types of vehicles on the road (well, why would I?) and it was pretty interesting to discover all the different shapes, sizes and kinds out there.

Of course, as you’d suspect, all the various car manufacturers are in the market and have their own versions of what constitutes a good commercial van but, after having a good look, here are my favourites from each:

Peugeot have models that include the Bipper, Expert and Partner. I liked the Boxer though, it’s big and can carry up to 2000kgs.

The Sprinter and Vito are Mercedes’ offerings, and if I had to choose I’d probably go for the Sprinter. In terms of running costs it seems hard to beat.

When it comes to Ford it’s hard to choose anything other than the Transit. Maybe the best known van out there, certainly in the UK, the Transit is just really adaptable and sturdy.

With all the Volkswagen models you’ll get the super-reliability they are renowned for but I’m going for the Crafter. There’s just something about it that looks great and you can almost imagine a modern day A-Team using it!

Seriously, until looking I didn’t realise that some of these vehicles are absolute beasts and wouldn’t be out of place in even the toughest off-road rally. And did I actually say vans weren’t sexy? Who am I to argue with Mr T?!

Honestly, I never heard of SoBe but from now on, I will not forget it. At SoBe event, Kate is milking a fake cow! At the Complex Magazine video, Kate is going around a farm with cows, chickens and more.

Pirelli P Zero women collection, it is does sound a bit awkward. A tyre manufacturer and women collection inside the same sentence. Despite this contradiction, Pirelli is determined to create a fashion brand from a rubber company. And their passion for the fashion is getting better, however I cannot say it for women collection.

I really love the Pirelli P Zero men collection, especially their shoes. They are superb! One of the best on market. However, their women collection is a bit interesting. I am not a fashion expert but you can see the problem!

Pirelli P Zero does not look that feminine and design team needs to offer more than one pair of shoes!

BMW 5-Series Receive Facelift

BMW announced the facelift version of the 5-Series. Even though, the 5-Series is at the right time for a facelift but it doesn’t look that old! With the facelift, BMW 5-Series resembles more to present 3-Series. Especially from the front-end! You will not notice a radical change in exterior and interior design. Even though, the interior of BMW 5-Series does not receive any serious touch, the quality of the materials is improved for premium quality feel.

BMW 5-Series now offers 518d entry model with 143 HP, 350 Nm from 2-lt turbo diesel engine. Unfortunately, 518d does not offer any tax advantage to emerging markets due to 2-lt engine displacement. The rest of engines options are; 520d and 525d are both based on 2-lt turbo diesel with 184 HP (380 Nm) / 218 HP (450 Nm). 530d and 535d are both based on 6-cylinder turbo diesel with 258 HP (540 Nm) / 313 (630 Nm). Petrol engines are; 520i and 528i are based on 2-lt with 184 HP (270 Nm) / 245 HP (350 Nm). 535i is a 6-cylinder with 306 HP (400 Nm) and 550i a V8 with 450 HP (650 Nm). All engines are TwinPower turbo powered! No natural aspire for BMW anymore.

One of the ground-breaking technology for facelift 5-series is the Traffic Jam Assistant. BMW 5-Series is now capable of driving by itself in rush hour traffic by controlling the speeding and the steering wheel. As usual, 8-speed automatic and xDrive all wheel drive technologies are available. And now full LED headlight option is available!

My personal opinion, facelift BMW 5-Series is really good!

Mercedes CLA from Istanbul for #PinItForwardUK

Mercedes CLA, the tiny CLS! I know this does not sound fair but CLA is the smaller size version of the legendary CLS. Despite this resemblance, CLA did manage to create its own group of fans!

CLA is based on the new Mercedes A-Class, they share the same platform. Therefore, CLA is a front-wheel drive car. Unlike the CLS, you will experience relatively more under steer than you expected in a Mercedes. My personal opinion with front-wheel drive is not associated with sympathetic thoughts. But we cannot forget the manufacturing cost of rear-wheel drive and its hunger for fuel for smaller size engines. When you add these items into equation front-wheel drive is a plausible solution, which I really don’t appreciate that much.

Never mind, you won’t be disappointed with the CLA. It does look way different than the A-Class, there is no true competitor of CLA and you will be quite unique. And CLA is relatively lowered priced than the CLS!

Bugatti Veyron police car at Dubai Police. This is not a scenery from the latest computer games or fictional scenario from a Hollywood movie. Dubai police recently added a Bugatti Veyron to their high speed chase fleet. Recently, they added Ferrari FF, Aston Martin One-77, Lamborghini Aventador, Bentley Continental GT and Mercedes SLS AMG. Literally, Dubai police department is the real life version of Need For Speed game!

And after the Bugatti Veyron takes part on their high speed chase fleet, there is no chance of anyone can run away from Dubai police department!

A Chinese Maserati Quattroporte Owner Destroyed His Own Car

A Chinese Maserati Quattroporte owner destroyed his own car. Sounds like the owner was a bit angry and also looking forward to share their disappointment all over the world. Literally, he achieved! Owner of this Maserati Quattroporte had a bad experience with the service. According to news on internet (China Car Times), the Maserati service installed a second hand part instead of brand new one and charged him €300 and the problem is not fixed! As a result of this, state-of-art after sales performance from Maserati, the owner became a bit mad! And decided to destroy the Maserati Quattroporte on the day of World Consumers Right Day!

Based on this personal campaign to destroy his own Maserati Quattroporte on a special day went totally well! Why? Because, destroying a Maserati with sledgehammer became viral in couple of days and he promoted his bad experience all around the world only the cost of minor scratches, which can be fixed with no problem. He did not drop a huge concrete block over the over, damages are minor! If he decided to share his experience through internet, it will take ages to spread and cost a lot.

By destroying his own car, he increased the awareness of failure in "think globally act locally" strategy of a global brand in China.

Easter markets are totally different than the Western, I am from Turkey and I am between the East and the West. Therefore, I can understand his frustration and find it kind of reasonable to express his feelings by this way. And also, he raised the after sales issues of Maserati in China. Many global brands try to implement their western strategies on eastern markets and the results are not that satisfying. A strategy that works well in Europe may not work well in China due to cultural differences. And understanding the differences and revising the local strategy will help a brand to grow locally!

New Mercedes-Benz S-Class W222 | Official Photos

New Mercedes-Benz S-Class W222 is finally revealed in Hamburg, Germany. And Mercedes-Benz released the photos of the new S-Class. As I mentioned before, new S-Class is a larger version of the present E-Class and features a very similar rear-end to existing CL Coupe. My views are also shared by many other journalist and blogger.

Despite this unexpected situation, new S-Class is completed with the state-of-art technologies. Such as road scan and hot stone massage (I really have no idea about this) and many more technologies. According to Mercedes-Benz, the new S-Class can drive by itself but existing legislations do not permit this. If you buy a new S-Class, you will own a car that is capable of driving by itself.

All technological improvements and comfort features are explained on the photos.

How Can I Show My Number Instead of My Email on iMessage! I Want to See My Number!

How can I show my number instead of my email on iMessage! This is quite common problem since the Apple introduced the iMessage technology compete with WhatsApp and Blackberry Messenger.

The structure was very simple, you can use iMessage by both mobile number and email address at the same time, however things did not end up that simple. We started to receive text messages with email address instead of mobile phone numbers into our iPhones! As a result of this, we tried to guess that person based on the email address.

So how to solve this problem? Literally, I want to show my mobile number instead of my email address!

Do this from your iPhone not from other devices to avoid things go worse.

1. Press Home Button (The circle button) to switch Home Screen where the Settings icon is present.

2. Touch Settings button.

3. Scroll down and find Messages and touch it.

4. Scroll down and find Send & Receive and touch it.

5. Find Start New Conversations From and touch to your mobile number.

6. If you cannot see your mobile number or cannot change the settings, go back to step 3.

7. Now turn off the iMessage by touching On and now touch Off.

8. This process restarts the iMessage and go back to Step 4.

When you see the tick next to your mobile number, your mobile number will appear on iMesssage instead of your email address.

If you cannot see your mobile number or the Start New Conversations From section, just turn off and on your iPhone.

New Mercedes-Benz S-Class Photos Are Leaked! #NewSClass

Official photos of the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class W222 are leaked to internet before the press conference today. New S-Class resembles with the present E-Class and the rear-end is definitely very similar to present CL as well. Interior of new S-Class is definitely upgraded to compete with Bentley. And it looks like Mercedes did a very good job but we cannot judge before seeing at the dealers.

More information will be available tonight, so stay tuned to Cars & Life.

The most sympathetic car show, Москва 24! You probably never predict the answer, sorry it is not the one starts with T or F. The most sympathetic car show is from Russia by Anastasia Tregubova. According to my content, you may think I have a biased view. But No! This is a very objective judgement. Until Kate Upton starts a car show :)

I watched many car shows since I started to watch TV. There were some terrible, some excellent, some creative, some boring, some inspiring and some nothing! However, most of the shows had a similar concept. More or less they were the same or they reached their creative boundaries and entered into a loop!

The thing I like with Anastasia’s Москва 24 is the naïve character of the show. She is not trying to burn tyre or racing with F35 jet plane or pushing boundaries to make us laugh. What Anatasia does, a car show made by a women :) Москва 24 is like Maserati GranTurismo; combination of feminine curves with muscular lines. I really don't find interesting to see smoke coming from the tyres at 200 km/h inside a corner, because it is the loop which I found not anymore interesting.

Москва 24 is in Russian and I have no clue what Anastasia says during the show, actually YouTube translates it but, still I have no clue. But I like the concept of the show and the scenario, simple and elegant. I am expecting Anastasia to do the show in English in future :)

Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport is probably the most powerful mass production open top car on this planet, and I took photos of this Veyron specially for #PinItForwardUK. Grand Sport is relatively slower than the Super Sport but still the 8-lt W16 engine develops 1001 HP, which is good enough to shake your internal ear and lost your sense of direction.

As the weather is getting warmer, for some people open top (convertible) cars become more vital than anything else. And they need something really fast! When you think about speed and uniqueness, there is nothing better than the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport.

If you are lucky, this Bugatti still available at HR Owen in London. But it may have been sold as well!

Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport is powered by an 8-lt W16 quad-turbo engine with 1001 HP and 1250 Nm of torque. Veyron needs less than 2.7 seconds to reach 100 km/h and only 2.3 seconds to stop from 100 km/h to standstill. The top speed is 407 km/h and if you are crazy enough you can stop Veyron from its top speed to stand still in less than 10 seconds. Probably your internal organ will change their places, so don’t try it! And Veyron needs 41.9lt/100 km petrol when you are driving in city.

Victoria Kyriakides new 2014 bridal collection is revealed. As the weather is getting warmer and my friends getting older, I see more and more bridal photos on Facebook and Twitter! So, I decided to share the latest collection of Victoria Kyriakides for the potential brides.

Victoria Kyriakides is a contemporary Greek fashion designer. She appeared in many international bridal fashion shows. Last year, I attended her show at White Gallery in London.

I wish I could write more but I am not getting married and I have no idea of the world of bridal. However, the collection is worth to share.

New Mercedes S-Class W222 brochure was leaked to internet before the official announcement on Wednesday. Despite I never had an emotional attachment with the S-Class, it is the benchmark of automotive industry. Every new vehicle on this segment always tries to overtake the technologies of S-Class. And again one more time, Mercedes S-Class offers new technologies with conservative design.

Here are some; Magic Body Control, Road Surface Scan and many other new technologies. The initial engine options are S350 BlueTEC (258 HP), S400 Hybrid (306 HP) and the legend S500 (455 HP). S350 BlueTEC is a diesel model and can reach to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. In 1999, this performance can be achieved only by S500!

Playboy playmate Raquel Pomplun received a brand new Jaguar F-Type. Raquel Pomplun first featured on the April 2012 issue of Playboy (Sex & Music). And recently Hugh Hefner announced Raquel Pomplun as the 2013 Playmate of the Year at Playboy Mansion.

Consequently, Raquel received lots of attention and in addition to this attention Raquel received a Jaguar F-Type for one year. If you think, this is not enough she also received $100000 cash. Raquel will enjoy the Jaguar F-Type for one year and probably wear out at least one set of rear tyres at the end of lease.

Jaguar F-Type is available with three engine types. 3-lt supercharged V6 with (F-Type) 300 HP / (F-Type S) 380 HP and acceleration of 5.3 seconds (top speed 260 km/h) / 4.9 seconds to 100 km/h (top speed of 275 km/h). The most powerful F-Type is powered by a (F-Type V8 S) 5-lt supercharged V8 with 495 HP and only needs 4.3 seconds to reach 100 km/h with the top speed of 300 km/h.
