Goodbye, Range Rover TDV8

Range Rover will be replaced soon in couple of months. These probably the last photos of the present Range Rover.

This model is on market for nearly ten years and received facelift for four times. The first facelift of Range Rover was the replacement of the BMW Td6 turbo diesel with 3.8 TDV8 turbo diesel and interior was revised. Later on, another facelift changed the interior again and replaced the instrument panel with a LCD one, it was around summer 2009. And recently, 3.8 TDV8 was replaced with 4.4 TDV8 and lots LED lights became available. 

In my opinion, I always like the first product. Exterior and interior were better than today, despite the lazy BMW Td6 engine.

This Range Rover Autobiography is powered by a 4.4-lt TDV8 diesel, 313 PS and 700 Nm of torque coupled with 8-speed automatic gearbox. Only needs 7.5 seconds to reach 100 kph (62 mph) and top speed of 210 kph (130 mph)

Range Rover Evoque: New Photos

Range Rover Evoque, a revolution from Land Rover from heavy-duty off-roader manufacturing to designer high-heels making. I am saying this because Victoria Beckham is the brand ambassador of the Range Rover Evoque.

Since Evoque was revealed, I never had opportunity to have a very good weather take its photos. It was always cloudy or indoor and results were not satisfying. Hopefully, last week I had the opportunity and everything went well :)

Evoque is a really beautifully designed vehicle, especially the interior details represents the Land Rover’s aim to improve the level of luxury on their vehicle range. Despite its electric steering-wheel that disconnects you from the road a bit, there is nothing wrong with the Evoque. Nice to drive, really spacious, lots of technological gadgets, diesel engine can rev up to 5000 rpm. And you cannot have this type of revving diesel engine that often. That’s a great success of Land Rover engineers.

This Evoque has a great colour combination, white interior and sand beige interior leather. Interior looks really nice with colour and reminds me the Beckham’s handbag and high-heels. She likes this colour as well!

Actually, Evoque provides you everything you need and smaller than the traditional Range Rover. Since I saw the Evoque, I always thought why do I need the Range Rover! 

This one is a Range Rover Evoque Prestige SD4, 2.2-lt turbo diesel engine produces 190 PS and 420 Nm of torque coupled with 6-speed automatic gearbox. Land Rover should replace this gearbox with a 8-speed automatic to improve fuel efficiency and acceleration. And Evoque only needs 8.1 seconds to reach 100 kph (62 mph) and top speed is 195 kph (121 mph).

Fuel Efficient Lamborghini Aventador

Lamborghini Aventador is going to be more fuel-efficient. I know this sounds like a bit like; ice cold fire, comfortable high heels, being awarded not to paying your tax or a traffic that tells you to drive fast. Technically, all these things are impossible; some of them can be mentioned as possible but you never notice. Like a fuel-efficient Lamborghini Aventador.

This fuel-efficient Aventador will be able to shut off its six-cylinder when it is unnecessary, and this would never be possible. Another system in Aventador is the start / stop function and unlike other systems it will be saving weight (3 kg) by using a capacitor instead of battery. And all these things will be save 1.2 l/km (1.2 mpg) and 28 g/km CO2.

And I am definitely sure that, all Lamborghini owners will be waiting for this since never. It is impossible to feel these improvements in your credit card when you own a Lamborghini Aventador with 12-cylinder petrol powered engine. All these improvements are for improving the image of Lamborghini. And also, the engineers did a great job to improve the fuel consumption of a Lamborghini.

Jaguar XKR-S New Photos

Jaguar XKR-S, Jaguar's the most powerful car. However I will not talk about its power, today I had the opportunity to take pictures of XKR-S in a very sunny British weather. Actually, this is more interesting than the XKR-S performance figures :) 

Today was a really hot day in UK and there were nearly no clouds in the sky and I had the opportunity to take photos without adjusting many settings to compensate the lack of light on XKR-S

Jaguar XKR-S is powered by a 5-lt supercharged V8 petrol engine with 550 PS and 680 Nm of torque. XKR-S only needs 4.4 seconds to reach 100 kph (62 mph). I am not mentioning about the consumption, unfortunately these cars are not in the hybrid class economy level. XKR-S consumers petrol, because it needs to produce 550 PS of power :)
